After planning our own wedding, we realised just how many little details happen behind the scenes — from stationery and seating plans to décor, getting-ready spaces and making sure everything is ready before the celebrations begin. We also realised that couples often don’t need another person simply booking suppliers; they need someone who can actually help bring all those details together.
Before The I Do provides practical, personal wedding support for couples across Cape Town, the Winelands and the Western Cape. Whether you have planned everything yourself and need someone to take over the setup and coordination, or you’re looking for support throughout your planning journey, we’re here to make the process feel more manageable.
Our services include wedding planning support, on-the-day coordination, wedding morning setup, DIY décor setup and styling, wedding-day stationery and details, newlywed room setup, and tailored wedding support.

Yes. We offer Full Wedding Planning, Partial Wedding Planning and On-the-Day Coordination, depending on how much support you need. Our Full Wedding Planning service can support you from the early planning stages through to your wedding day, including venue and supplier sourcing, budget and planning support, stationery, décor and styling, guest logistics, timelines, supplier communication, final confirmations and on-the-day coordination. Our Partial Planning service is ideal if you’ve already started planning and need help organising the remaining details and bringing everything together. If you’ve planned everything yourself but don’t want to manage the wedding day, our On-the-Day Coordination service takes care of the suppliers, timeline, setup and behind-the-scenes logistics so you can simply enjoy your day.
Yes. We can set up and style client-supplied, hired or a combination of décor. This can include tables and table settings, centrepieces, candles, signage, welcome areas, favours and personal details. Additional décor can also be sourced and added to your quote where required.
Absolutely. Not every wedding needs the same kind of support. We can combine planning, coordination, styling, stationery, wedding morning setup and other services to create a package around your specific wedding and requirements
