In the past I have done many weddings as the second shooter, but recently I decided to take more control and start on my own.
The most important elements to me are unplanned special moments, I try and not stage anything and try to keep everything as natural as possible, I still do all the traditional shots, but I try to capture as much as possible of the special moments and feelings of the day as possible to have the videos personalised to the couple and that specific day with cinematic qualities.
I capture everything thing of the day, but I limit editing to what package has been chosen, the package can also then be upgraded at a later stage.
My typical timeline for an edit is around 2 weeks, I try and start the basic edit within the next day while everything is still fresh, then I gradually add personality until the edit is complete.
