When we think of wedding photography, we often picture the grand portraits, the beautiful details, and the carefully composed photographs.But some of my favourite photographs are the ones that happen quietly in between.
A fleeting glance.
A hand held.
A burst of laughter between friends.
A child completely lost in the wonder of the day.
A moment of tenderness that lasts only a second, and may go unnoticed by almost everyone.
These are the moments I look for intently.
Because while the bride and groom are at the heart of the celebration, they simply cannot see everything that is happening around them. They are busy greeting, celebrating, laughing, dancing, embracing and taking it all in.
So I watch.
I look beyond the obvious and try to capture the little pieces of their wedding day that they never knew happened - the moments of intimacy, friendship, joy and innocence that quietly make their story complete.
Because one day, when the flowers have faded and the music has stopped, I want to give them something more than beautiful photographs.
I want to show them the moments they missed.
Hi I'm Andrew your photographer, my grandfather gifted me with an instamatic camera when I was 12 years old, shortly before leaving the U.K. from there it's never stopped growing. I cover weddings, live events, live bands, church and community outreach as well as equestrian, show Jumping.
