This is a smooth, fresh and exciting two piece band consisting of  Nicky Calver on Lead Vocals and Malawian Robert Phiri on Keyboards/Backing Vocals. Both excellent musicians in their own right, they are a pleasure to listen to and watch.  SugarFoot Rag are one of the most unique duos to hit the music circuit.  Their forte is mixing accoustic piano and warm, sultry vocals whilst still including backtracks for some numbers.

Included in their repertoire are numbers by Etta James, Ella Fitzgerald, Natalie Cole, Nina Simone,  Peggy Lee,  Dusty Springfield, Bread, John Legend, Shakatak, Norah Jones, Frank Sinatra,  Michael Buble,  Dean Martin, Adele, Gabrielle, Bill Withers and George Benson,  Joe Sample and The Shadows to name just a few. Their party sett incorporates the likes of  Kirk Whallum, Hot Chocolate, Joe Cocker, Gloria Gaynor, Matt Bianco, TOTO, Stevie Wonder, Santana, Odyssey, Earth Wind & Fire and many more.

Together, SUGARFOOT RAG is a sublime musical experience which is delivered in their own unique sophisticated style, that will enhance any event, whether it be weddings, stylish cocktail evenings, welcome drinks, pre-dinner drinks, dinner/dance, gala dinner, or corporate and private functions.

The Band has performed at The Hilton, The Palazzo at Monte Casino and the Radisson Blu Hotels, Functions for Southern Sun, Cell C, Lekgotla and Cantare Restaurants, Irene Country Lodge, Sun City and Bruma Flea Market as well as various other functions and 5-star venues.
