I am a professional Wedding DJ who has been in the industry for over 20 years. I started out cutting my teeth on school gigs at the age of 15 and quickly moved into Weddings, becoming a popular, sought-after wedding specialist. I have the ability to adapt to varied music tastes and relate to diverse crowds.
Having extensive knowledge of weddings, I have the inside track on how a really great evening plays out, from music for the ceremony to song ideas for the reception. Small touches like walk-up tunes for the speech makers add an element of fun and help reduce those pre-speech jitters.
On the formalities front, I am able to assume the role of MC and keep the proceedings flowing smoothly.

How far in advance should I book a wedding DJ ?
The earlier the better, especially for peak season (October to April). Most couples book 12 to 18 months in advance. Popular venues on Saturdays in summer fill up fast, so if you have your date and venue locked in, reach out sooner rather than later. I am happy to pencil in a date while you finalise details.
How much does a wedding DJ cost ?
Rates vary widely depending on experience, equipment, and travel. A professional wedding DJ typically ranges from R14,000 to R20,000+, depending on the package. What is included in a wedding DJ package ?
My packages include professional sound, lighting, and MC services if requested. That covers a full PA system, dance floor lighting, wireless microphones for speeches.Extras like sounds for musicians or low fog machines for the first dance can be added. Every quote is customised to your evening.
Do you travel for destination weddings.
Absolutely. I regularly work at venues across the Cape Winelands ie. Stellenbosch, Franschhoek, Paarl, Tulbagh, and beyond. I also travel to the Overberg (Caledon, Hermanus), and from Berg to Bush in KwaZulu-Natal.
