At Avianto, we've spent almost three decades turning a stretch of riverbank in Muldersdrift into a village built entirely around celebration. Our estate sits on the banks of the Crocodile River, a short twenty-minute drive from Lanseria, and from the moment you turn in through the gates you're somewhere that feels borrowed from Tuscany, with rendered walls, arched doorways, courtyards and gardens that have had years to mature into something genuinely beautiful rather than freshly landscaped.

We built Avianto for couples who don't want to choose between scale and intimacy. Our Ballroom seats 350 for a banquet with a dance floor, stretches to 400 without one, and works from as few as 80 guests. Two winding staircases sweep down into it, three fireplaces keep it warm enough for a proper winter wedding, and the patio beyond opens onto our Amphitheatre, tranquil gardens and a water fountain, with a boma just off to the side for the quieter moments before or after your reception. If your day calls for something different, our Banqueting Hall holds 200, and between the two of them, our Fireside and Willow Room, our Chapel, our Amphitheatre and our Lavender Field, we have six distinct spaces on the property, so your ceremony, your reception and your photographs can all happen somewhere different without ever leaving Avianto.

We know a wedding day is never really just one day, which is why we built a hotel village into the estate. Thirty rooms and five suites, each with its own private entrance, individual air-conditioning, a minibar and a safe, dressed in percale linen and proper, oversized beds. Couples use it to turn a wedding into a full weekend: family flying in the night before, a rehearsal dinner at our restaurant Cielo under the old oak tree that has stood at the centre of that garden for longer than any of us have worked here, a slow Sunday morning after, with everyone still on site. It is the difference between a wedding that ends when the last song plays and one that keeps going until everyone drives home together.

Food matters enormously to us. Our kitchen builds bespoke plated and buffet menus, and we run tasting sessions so you can sit down with our executive chef before you commit to anything. We have hosted enough Kosher weddings that we built a Chuppah and a badeken room into what already comes with the Chapel and Banqueting Hall, and we work with Halaal caterers for traditional weddings, even though our own kitchen is not a Halaal kitchen day to day. For décor, we work exclusively with Event Inspirations on draping and lighting, partly because they do beautiful work and partly because it protects the buildings we have spent years maintaining.

None of this is generic to us. We are not a blank hall that gets dressed up differently every weekend. We are a Tuscan-style village on a working river, with an amphitheatre that has hosted proposals, and a lavender field that photographs better at golden hour than almost anywhere else we know. We have nearly 2,750 Google reviews from people who came here for one day and, in a good number of cases, came back for a christening or an anniversary. Being twenty minutes from Lanseria means our out-of-town and international guests can land and be with you within the hour, and being part of the wider Avianto Lifestyle Estate means the grounds around us keep getting more established, not less.
